Ottawa,
Hey Guys,
I tore off my rear passenger side suspension yesterday, and just needed some advice on removing something. I have attached a picture. Basically, I got the entire suspension dropped, but had broken the end of the bolt off that held on the shock. So I finally got that off as well, but only the shock and rubber part came off, and it left the sleeve that is normally where the bolt goes through attached to the trailing arm with the rest of the bolt inside of it.

(I know that was confusing but hopefully it made enough sense.)

Well, this sleeve seems to be completely seized to the trailing arm. I hammered on it a bit, and took the torch to it for a while, but it doesn't seem to be budging. Any ideas on how to get this off?

you might have to use a cutting wheel or a dremel to cut that sleeve. after you make a cut from end to end you might have to use a flat screwdriver to pry it open (hit with a hammer if you have to).

you should spray the bolt with plenty of PB blaster and let it soak for few days (keep spraying it every day. if you take the sleeve off you might be able to grab it with a pair of vice.
otherwise you might have to drill it out.
