2G rear O2 sensor

The rear O2 sensor went out in my 99 gsx and then it broke in have and i need to know how to switch it out. i noticed the wires go up into the bottom of car, so where do they go from there?? How do i put a new sensor in??

If you follow the wires they should lead to a harness plug. Just simply unplug that one and plug in your new one. As for the old sensor in there, just put a socket on it and take it out. You might need to heat it up a bit with a torch but it will come out.

The o2 sensor harness will go through a plug (part of the o2 sensor harness) under the driver's seat. The connector can be found under the seat beneath the carpet. Honestly, it is easier to remove the seat to access it (four bolts).

The bottom half of the sensor comes out fine, i was just wondering where the wires went once they went into the bottom of the car before i started taking things apart inside the car. also thank you for the advice!!
