Rear mount and bracket help 1g

Ok so i own a 91 laser turbo... M/T,, my oem mounts were simply not good enough so i decided to get some after market mounts 4pc kit from drop engineering, bad thing is the back mount came up being to short (as in vertical hight) is this do to the kit being for a 1g awd not my fwd???

Any feed back would help so much, as in my car is taken apart and i need it for work tomorrow... thanks guys

When you say back mount, do you mean rear mount??? As in the mount that is against the firewall (opposite the radiator)? If so, 1G's i believe all have 3 engine mounts and 1 transmission mount, with the tranny mount being on the passenger side below the strut tower. So if your referring to the rear mount, like i first stated, that should bolt to the engine itself and not matter whether or not the mounts are for AWD or FWD. Someone correct me if I'm wrong I wont be upset When you say its coming up short, you may have to wrestle the motor with a pry bar or so to get it down, also make sure all the other motor mount bolts are pretty lose so that they can allow the engine pivot and move around when your trying to get the last mount on.

Yes the rear mount and bracket by the firewall... and i also thought that the mounts and brackets did not change, but in doing the mount changes and using the awd drop mounts, the rear one did not fit and is notisably shorter then the oem one,,, and i had heard that i might need to change the rear bracket to an awd bracket, just dont know which one is the awd bracket, as to my fwd is the 194a bracket...

194 is the rear manual transmission FWD turbo bracket.
195 is the rear manual transmission AWD turbo bracket.
