I just got them in the mail. I already took out my old rear struts. The koni yellows (part number 8041 1208SPORT) are supposed to be adjustable. I took them out and looked at them, they have 2 spots for you to clip a C-clip into and then the perch sits on the C-clip. But my questions is that there is only 2 spots and it seems as though with the perch on the lower spot that it is exactly the same as my stock strut. So are you only able to raise your car with these struts?

they are damping adjustable, not ride height adjustable. you'll need lowering springs or the coilover sleeves for ride height adjustments.

Koni yellows ARE height adjustable. Feel free to read STM's website. Once again, my question is why is there only 2 spots for me to clip in the perch? Is the lower one lowering the car or is it maintaining stock ride height? I know i can buy coilover sleeves, ect to adjust ride height. I didnt say i wanted to adjust the height, i just want to know the proper location for the perch.

Ground control has coilover sleeves and plenty of different spring rates to choose from. What do you have on the front?

As for the front it is stock now. Waiting to buy some konis for the front also.

Just put the perch on the clip, lay it beside your stock (or whatever you have on there now) strut and compare the two.

That's what I tried to do. It looks to be the same. Its hard to tell though. I dont understand why koni would make it so you can raise your car 1 inch but not be able to lower it the same.

The only difference between stock 2G rear AWD and FWD shocks is the location of the spring perch. There is only 1 Koni part number for FWD and AWD, so I'm assuming the two options are for this reason (or I could be completely wrong, this was just from deductive reasoning).

That actually makes sense. It was just that STM's site says..."The KONI Sports feature an externally adjustable spring seat for ride height adjustment and can lower the car approxamately 25mm." <<< straight from the website.
