Rear hatch/spoiler delete

New guy to the dsm world. I own a 96 talon tsi, wondering what the best route was on deleting my spoiler or swapping out the oem one. Interchangeable parts from the eclipse? DIY? Best place to order this from? Thanks guys !

Also will the 2g eclipse trunk hatch fit with no fabrication on my talon?

that tells me nothing about compatibility. Iv been a part of vadriven and the honda community for years i know how it works. good look though bro

The Talon and Eclipse hatches are the EXACT same(Never minding the wing/wing holes)
I believe the stock Talon wing has 5 bolts holding it on, after you take off all the plastics. I taped over some(With sealant on the inside), and just threw the Eclipse high rise on.

take off the wing. use bondo to cover old holes drill new holes. problem fixed

The hatch bolts on the same, its the holes in the quarter panels you need to worry about.

Don't listen to this unless you want to do it the wrong way. You should always weld holes shut, grind down the welds, then use filler to finish it off. Then prime, seal, and paint. Also, ALWAYS seal the exposed metal on the bottom side of the hatch with a self etch primer then undercoating or paint.
