Rear fenders

i've been wanting to do an eclipse conversion(96-99) on my 2g and just the other day a friend of mine said that i might need the fenders...are they the same fenders or will i need to get the eclipse fenders aswell?

I'm not exactly shure what a 2G body format is but, I know on a 1G the rear fenders are part of the rear quarter panel and it is major surgery to replace them. I don't believe there is any differance between all of the 2G rear panels. The 1G TEL all use the same the only change is the bumper/tail light combinations.

No you wont need the fenders but you'd need to find a way to suppoort the bumper because the support sits lower on the talons then the eclipses because the deeper tail lights on the talon
