rear end swaying

I have search and it lead me to it being rear bushings. But, I did a visual inspection of the rear bushing and they all look good. The chassis only have 40,000 miles on it only with about an inch drop. After I lowered it I had it align and I rotated the tires. Could it be something else or should I just replace the bushing and cross my fingers? The previous owner told me that it started when he installed a rear camber kit but has taken it out since. Freaken-na I kinda see why he sold the car .

I had a HORRIBLE sway in the rear at or above 55mph. If i let off the gas, tapped the brakes, or trned in a little more to adjust my placement in my lane it felt like the back side was gonna pass the front. It was a simple fix. I had to replace the rear toe adjustment arms. Mine were wore out and you could actually twist the wheels left or right 5 degrees or so. If you are not sure about it raise the back of your car up and try to twist the wheels left and right. Watch the lower control arms while doing it. If they are worn out you will see the movement. Unless the arms are COMPLETELY worn out you MUST raise the car to get any movement. Good luck.

i would start by checking all the bushings in the rear first but my car would do the same only when i would hit a bump in road, i just had to replace a dead strut
