is there any way i can make my 1g talon awd a rear-drive? Thanks.

Yes. Go look for big long dumb threads in the drivetrain, silly people have tried it before.

You need to weld the VC or the center diff, and then remove drive power to the front wheels.

If you want a drift car, you should buy something that you don't have to ### out to do it.

Yes.

Why you would want to is beyond me.

Do a search using all combinations of saying 'rear wheel drive' that you can think of...

Just typing in "RWD" I found this, not even halfway down the page:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=105017&highlight=rwd

Searched for "rear wheel drive" and found:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=89657&highlight=rear+wheel+drive

Also found:

If anybody ever has a topic that can not be found by a search, they either don't belong on a computer or have something that should go in the extreme tuner forum. Just about everything you can think of, has already been discussed...
