I may be asking a dumb question but i have a 1g flip up headlight model with the license plate on the bumper. I wanted to know if i could run the bumper off the slightly newer model with the license plate on the tail lights? will it bolt up? will it fit? :aha:

BTW you have what we like to call a 1GA 90-94s are 1Gs (1st generation) and 90-91 are 1GAs (the first body style) and 92-94s are 1GBs (the revised body style for 1Gs with no flip up headlights and different bumpers). So just say I have a 1ga instead of the one with the flip up headlights. :thumb:

Anywho onto your question Yes, you need a set of 1gb talon tail lights and the rear bumper. Then take yours off, put the new ones on and voila.

Using the search function I found this thread, here ya go. Good luck. :hellyeah:

I guess it would have helped to know the lingo when trying to search. Thanks for the info!!

There will be some cutting needed to the lip just below the tail lights to make this work though. The 92-94 (talon) center with the lic. plate dips below where this lip is, you'll have to cut it, and remove it in the center approx the width of this center piece. It's no biggie though. Pretty straight forward otherwise.

And may needs the lip's center piece welding back to a lower positon :)
