1G Rear 3 bolt CV Axle

I am looking for any information on a solution for a bad 3 bolt rear CV Axle. the car is a 1G 4G63 5 Speed and has the orange sticker in the door jam. I have done extensive research and can not find parts. The story goes, noise from rear CV at speed and upon inspection i felt enough play to suggest the out CV has gotten worn. However I cant find parts any where at all. It is the 3 bolt set up for a 1g. Any and all information would help. Rebuild kits, rebuild shops, new parts. Rather not get used but at this point I am desperate. I commute 70+ miles and have no car till I fix her up.

P.S. Is it so popular to do a drive-train conversion for this reason?

Have you tried Raxles? I bought a rear CV Shaft from them a couple years ago for my old TSi AWD

Any rear CV axle has been discontinued by everyone except for Mitsubishi. You can get parts of an axle from them. Usually for a pretty penny of course. Your best bet is going to be to either contact DSM Graveyard - Your #1 Source for DSM Parts! or Mitsubishi Graveyard. Both are vendors of the site and can help you out. Used it about your only option right now.
