I plan on have 3 inch exaust ran turbo back on my talon with no cat. What do i need to do with the rear o2 sensor? should i have them mount it to the new pipe? if so will i get a check engine light? :talon:

After doing more research i have found that people but the rear o2 sensor inside the car (usually under the center console) has anyone done this? I dont have a scanner to clear a code so i would like to make it so i will never get a CEL from the rear o2 sensor. How does everyone get around this problem?

I just installed my apexi turbo-back which has no cat. I coulnt get the rear o2 sensor out of the stock exhaust without stripping the hell out of it. so i just left it in there and the hole in the new exhaust has a plug in it. i have a CEL, but it doesnt really bother me much. I probably will end up following that link above to get rid of it one of these days.

to answer your question, the o2 sensor can be reached from inside the car. i took out my drivers side seat and a couple dash panels...its under the floor. i unclipped the sensor and let the part that was attatched to the exhaust fall through. regardless, youll get a CEL
