:banghead: ok so, ive got a 95 gsx. blew the turbo about 2 months ago. got a new one from this guy, managed to put it together last week. started it, everything was fine. running good, good aidle everything was fine. then i took it out for a ride, boost was good, bov was working everything was fine. (didnt take it over 4k rpm) so i parked it in the garage looked everything over and everything looked good. yet in the morning i open my garage and theres is oil under wut seemed the SMIC. i checked out everything and the oil wasnt leaking from anywhere. but then i noticed my bumper and headlight were drenched in oil. i looked at my blow of valve and it had oil in it. everything was soaked in oil from the blow off valve to the side. at first i didnt know what to think of it but then i researched it and as far as i know its probably the turbo seals. anything else that could be wrong with it? any simple solutions or will i have to go through the hastle of getting another turbo? :ohdamn:

Well did you clean the pipes out from the last time you blew your turbo... If the seals went you will have mad amounts of oil still in the piping and if you see oil then you also have boost leaks unless your venting your BOV... I bet the its the old turbos oil...

when i blew my last turbo it didtn have any oil in it the housing just cracked and so on. i am venting atmospheric so not worried about boost leaks. and yes its a t-25 replaced with another t-25.

definetly need a new turbo. I just had the same problem and now my supposed "new" turbo has massive shaft play after about a week so i know the problem

viperlp01 thanks man without you i would have started ripping the turbo out :D well i took of my intercooler pipe and about half a quart of black oil ran out. (oil is brand new in engine and still nice and clear) so i took apart all the intercooler pipes intake pipes, bov everything and cleaned it all out as best i could. now i have left my intercooler to dry for a while because i used gas to wash the oil and gunk out. so probably gonna be ready to assemble tomorrow and see if the seals arent bad. :thumb:

Ya man I hope all goes well. The turbo would also throw mad anounts of oil in the other direction LOL. I'm on my black berry so it might look bad as I'm writing. Do a boost leak test as well man.. God luck
