So I installed some Dsm graveyard 274 reground cams strait up and trying to figure out why the my vacuum is at -8 at 900rpm. I thought they would still have a vac of around -12 to -14 can someone that has these cams help me out

Ya I just hope people read this thread before buying the 274's so they don't have to do it twice. My car idles perfect now at 1k which is right where I want it.

I have to change the fluid in the tranny and put fluid in the t-case today and I will test out if my bucking below 2k is gone.

damn, this thread is scaring me LOL, I just ordered a set of BC 272's. i EXPECT lope and worse low end though. just not terrible low end. ive seen some agressive cams in camaros and mustangs. they dont wake up til 1500rpm or higher and idle like shit. this will be my first experience doing cams and springs in a DOHC.

I don't think people are having a problem with the BC 272's, its the Graveyard 274's that make you have a hard to control idle, really low vacuum, and maybe even bucking below 2k rpms. So you should be fine with them.

I don't think the fact that they were "274s" is the root cause, though you listed what I believe to be the root cause in post #1.
