This is a full rebuild, I place the cam postion sensor exactly how it was on my old head, and I haven't moved the BISS idle screw on the throttle body, after adjusting it before the rebuild. I've tested for boost leaks before and there wasn't any, but the first time I started it up I heard some air leakage noise by the TB / fuel rail area but not the second time I started it up.
It wants to idle as high as 2,000 -2,500 and turning the BISS screw and adjusting the cam sensor doesn't help much, so I haven't let it run more than a cupple minutes, as the idle actualy seemed to be increaseing. One time it just decided to cut off under a minute of running.
isn't 2000-2500 way to much for even just starting up?
