Real? Fake? Worth it? t3/t4

A kid i know just bought a turbo off a kid with blown seals for $200, he said he would sell it to me for the same price he got it for, now the thing i want to know is how would i tell if its a fake? Its a t3/t4 the plate on it say's "TURBOCHARGER" on it, i know many of the ebay turbos i see have that on them. Anyways if you could help me out here is a picture of the plate and a picture of the turbo. I just want to know if its worth the $200 with blown seals and if its a ebay im just gonna say forget it. The turbo its-self looks near brand new, there is also some shaft play.

Well that looks like an ebay or china made comp housing and as far as if it's worth it i don't think it is. because ## still going to have to spend the money on the rebuild. you can get a t3/t4 turbo off of mjturboshop.net for about $400 and that is a Garrett turbo.

Yea, i just also wanted to make sure so that he would know what he had. Kinda figured it was a cheapy

ebay turbo.....yeah it looks new, and most likely it is newer, but the shaft play?? not good.
$200 is a lot of money for a used turbo with shaft play
