Hey, I'm considering some cams, and yes I know I have a few more mods to go before I put them in. I have also searched but not found the info I'm lookin for.

Everyone talks about idle. What's the idle like for which cams? I don't mind lopey idle, I actually kind of like it.
What about powerband or power increase?

Any answers to these would be helpful. Remember to specify which cams you have. :thumb:

Comp cams make big power, and they don't need adjustable camgears (+$250-$500 to the price of the cams) like the others. I'll personally be buying Comp 101200's.

How can you say that any aftermarket cam does not require gears to have it degreed in properly? Everyone said that about my HKS 272's, and both cams were off a total of 6* cam speed (3* crank). You should get cam gears and have them degreed when you buy ANY aftermarket cams.

Does anyone know anything about the Gude cams? I haven't heard much about them.
