Rare part on your car

I have the window sticker est value at $19,249 and the cargo cover in my '90. Also side skirts and front lip i never saw before.

Factory exterior door handles that aren't broke!

I have one that is original.

I have all the books for the 1990 Eclipse GS-T.
The Plastic key that comes with the car.
Also, I have an ASC Power sunroof with all of the original warranty information (lifetime warranty). :dsm:

I think its funny how there really aren't any rare parts out there for our cars. Most people who are into sport compacts have a car that at one time was made or sold in Japan. You know, all the Honda guys, 240sx owners, EVO folks, etc. They all have their uber-hawt JDM parts. Not us. We don't have that. And frankly, most of us don't give a damn. ;)

EVO III?

BTW, I have good condition original paint? Does that count?

i got a qtp exhaust cut out. Dont see much of those on any cars let alone dsms.:sneaky: Also still have the dealer paper that shows the price on the window of the car. (yeah, 25 grand back in 98)

LOL i had a set up like that 3" dp to a QTP electronic cutout to the stock exhaust. Pretty nice to be able to choose between stock exhaust and open 3inch at the flip of a switch.

Got rid of it for a full 3" thinking about going back to the QTP though... Sleeper sleeper

Mines reliable.... evidently that is a rare part in the description of a dsm.

DD for 3+ years now with not a single roadside breakdown. Many long trips included!

Super Rare Dealer Option Body Kit for a 1ga Laser.

I just got the kit in a trade for helping with etest.
Im working on restoring the kit over winter.

If I could find some 99 visors with the garage door buttons in it (can't think of the proper name) I'd have every option that you could get in a 2g

Hey I saw a 1g Talon TSI fully loaded... anyway it had some factory digital A/T Temp gauge on the cabin light. Does anyone have that? If so what is it?

Yeah, I don't think cargo covers are that rare either. Or I'm wierd. Are unbroken door handles on a 1g that rare? I could swear I've broken everything else on my car! 13 years as a daily driver with 1 roadside break-down that required a tow (1998, 10/29! ten years to the day, I'll be damned! I should knock on wood or something!) The day my ECU blew, the car still let me start it back up, drove it home, then drove it to the dealership.
I liked that durango copper color, but I sure remember seeing a bunch of them in the shipping lot outside the factory.
I remember the day I took the orig. window sticker out of the glove box, only to have it crumble to dust in my hands! Wish I took better care of that.
I guess all I really got is a '93 NT with 213,000mi that still has every single part on it, all OEM, connected, and where it belongs. Truth be told, my power antennea is currently disconnected and there is a little translucent plastic cover that goes under the battery and covers some piping or valve for the AC. That's not on the car right now. But it is within 10 feet of the car as you read this. I just can't figure out where it goes. I pulled it out from in between the body and the subframe one day. The dealer left it there when it got retrofitted withthe r134 kit.
I do have some seriously custom door cards, but they look 100% stock. I got tired of them falling apart back around the turn of the century and I went psycho sealing them up for stereo performance and reinforcing them. They're full of ABS plastic, JB cold-weld, and dynamat, with little rubber seals around the door locks. My doors are really heavy. I bet no one else has that, 'cause I made it myself.
One touch-up driver window, via the VFAQ page. Probably not that rare, either.

Im a plastics major at WWU and for a class project i made my own tooling for a carbon fiber hood. So the carbon fiber hood on my car weighs 14 lbs mounted and is a one-off, well unless i choose to make another one ;)

Also have custom built koni suspension, but people do that often enough
