despite 2 cones in 4 runs, i got 1st in class but only because most in rp4 weren't on rally tires as i was: http://www.sfrscca.org/RallyX/scoring/RXScores.2006.06.11.pdf

the only other dsm, a 2g gsx, was dark green and had rally tires too =)

That looks like a great time... what part of NorCal are they doing the events? (EDIT: Is this near Thunder Hill?) Have you done any more suspension mods? What size rims are you running for the rally stuff?

1st place in class is great, good job!

i believe its on thunderhill property. Dang i love that facility....i cant wait to go back next march!

thanks, yeah it was run on a hilly grass lot just after you turn onto the road leading to thunderhill's gate.

suspension: i rally it w/ my tarmac/autox setup: 500/300 lb gc coilover kit (highest ride ht possible) on tokico illumina, rm sways. it's not a good rally setup. Frankly i don't think the 2g is a good rally car; very little susp travel. no rally parts for it, unlike subies.

wheels: i run 15" rims since that's the main size for rally tires
