G'day.
Well, this Rally 'Q' will go down as a bad one for me.
Had an ignition problem from Friday night that continued all weekend. Did a 1.41 on the Super Special tarmac stage first run through but took 5 secs off second run as I knew the stage a little better.
Late Saturday afternoon I broke a front Drivers side driveshaft and with drew from Sat competition. We replaced it and started Sunday with promise. As the car got hot the ignition problem raised it's head again. We had ordinary runs through the first two stages and when I stopped the car near the start to stage three it would not start.
I thought the battery was flat but after having the battery on charge for two days the car still won't show any volts on the volt meter or light the lights.
Will have a look on Saturday.
