Radiator thickness?

Alright, the radiator in my 91 TSi has died. So I go looking around Ebay for a used one. I find one that the guy says came out a 91 GSX. I bought it and when I get the thing, the core thickness is about half of what my talon's radiator is. I know its cuz of the greater cooling needs of the turbo cars, but this guy is trying to tell me that the radiator that I bought from him is a turbo radiator. Did the GSX's have a thinner cored radiator than the Talon's for some bizarre reason?

all 1g radiators, turbo or not, are the same.

Thanks for the info. I just realized that the one in my car is an aftermarket autozone one that the previous owner put in. I guess for some reason those are thicker, becuase the one in the car right now, is definately thicker.
