Radiator Leaking from the Top Left side *pic*

Yeah so I drove my car for the first time (like normal driving/boosting anyway) and the new radiator I put in is leaking coolant out of the top. It looks like some type of scissor of metal where they sandwhiched the radiator together at the top. Check out the pic. It seems to be leaking out of just those 3 or 4 squares. I ended up JB Welding the whole row there and am now waiting over night to see if that fixes it. Any ideas about why or how that could of happened?

Most likely just its was built wrong. Try to get them to replace it since it had a defect new.

I agree, it could just be defective. I would take the radiator back from where you got it from for a replacement. I don't know if they will take it now that you have put JB Weld on it, but it is worth a shot.

Pfff. Got it off eBay. I'm boned. If I need to will just buy another one. c'est la vie.

Try tapping the clamp area on top down some where it is leaking.

1-800-Radiator. Find your local shop, go down with cash in hand, and count on being treated well.
They are swamping the radiator industry, and for good reason.

Was actually thinking of getting a Fluidyne Radiator and just be done with it or maybe a Koyo. Do Koyo's bolt right up to the factory fans like Fluidynes do?
