Ok here is the thing. My friend and I have almost the same setup on our cars, but I have the EVO3 turbo. When we race. I just him by a half a car off the line, but he then pulls side by side me until end of 3rd begining of 4th I then hit fuel cut and he pulls away as I let off..I think I should beat him with the EVO3 turbo and why am I getting fuel cut and he is not.Listed below is a discription of our mods.. HELP ME. Is there something I am doing wrong or something I can play with. I have the emange.,but its not installed yet. Is that why I get fuel cut. Will the emange make a big difference

Considering your still running the Stock Downpipe and Intercooler and you still beat him, I think your doing great.

Add those 2 pieces + more fuel and you should be able to walk all over your friend.

Since I see no fuel mods listed, I assume both cars run realtively low boost. That being the case there will be no difference between the two turbos. The downpipe is probably making a difference but the biggest is his fmic. That alone is helping him move more air even if he is at the same boost level as you. The fuel cut gremlin is a strange one. I have a buddy that just swapped in a jdm six bolt in his brother's gst. He ran 22 psi on race gas with STOCK FUEL and never hit fuel cut. Why I couldn't tell you. It happens to some cars more frequently than others and that just doesn't make sense to me if the cars are driven in the same climate. I datalogged a 2lb/min increase in airflow @the same psi when I bolted on my fmic.
