Im wondering if it is possible to put some race fuel in my 96 Gs-T. All is stock except for the injen intake, blitz bov(venting), and a muffler. I was talking to one of my friends and he said that he uses avve gas or some thing like that on his 70's blazer and his CJ jeep. He said that vp was stronger then the one he uses. I cant realy remember the name of the fuel he uses since it was a weird name. He said he puts in like 5 gallons and the rest 91. I looked around the net at vp race fuels and they have so many. Which one do you guys think is the best for an almost stock car and how much do i mix with? Thanks.

why do you wanna put race gas? do you have predetonation.

race gas will not help you horsepower wise it will only slow down the combustion time due to a higher octane level(harder to burn) and if your stock i dont see why you would need this

I guess i left out some important information. I might go to a local hang out and find some races on sunday night. I just thought it would help me hp wise. And i just wanted to see what the big deal was with this race fuel.

ya it wont help you unless you have predetonation

i only started using it when i hit 19lbs of boost and thats because i had knock in 3rd and 4th. and i was also using vp race fuel but it was just 106
