I use to own one. It's a great little car that responds well to mods like a cold air intake, headers, and an exhaust. Slap an Alpine devlopments supercharger on there too.

newtiburon.com i used to own one. they have come along way, since i sold mine over almost 2yrs ago. dual forced induction setup to include turbo/ s/c setup. not making alot of power but they aren't widely tuned like a dsm/honda/nissan etc. many 400whp tiburons out there 03+ in year.

i actually wouldnt mind getting another one, drive was fun, def. not a dsm fun but still fun.

shouldve expected such replies on a DSM forum. Im prob just doin a few basic things, rims, tint, intake. dont have the cash to waste like i used to, i have real bills now. but this car wasnt meant for racing anyway, just a sporty decently fast daily driver.

edit: oh yeah forgot to mention... and its RELIABLE

i had 20% tint on my tiburon, aem cai. 2.5" exhaust sounds nice also on the v6 tib anyways. but yeah check out newtiburon.com lots of good info. and not so much the random BS of forum bullying.

I almost got an 03 a while back. But then I came across my GST. I'm still considering buying one as a dd. They are good looking cars imo.

like any car though well maintained and it can def. be reliable. yeah i def. want another one but than again i want a bike, and a mint '99gsx 5speed .

would be nice to get back into one though, they were comfy for long drives. (and def. not that slow, only time i've been arrested was in my 03 black gt tibby. 143mph in 65. bad night/ open highway)

IMO I think you should stray away from modding anything if you are going to need something reliable ect ect. Just buy whatever you want, test drive it and find something u like with no mods and keep it that way.

Modifying the car only gives your new car a lower resale value. Also check out some other cars like Mazda 6 or maybe Subaru or even a Honda or someone who left here even liked the RSX he bought. Who knows just get something you wont regret you didnt modify. If I got a new car the only thing i would request is maybe a tint job.

That a boy.... Wow we have one here who actually admits that they will come back. Hahaha Everyone one else calls for blood and swears they will never come back and the DSM was the sh*ttiest car they have ever owned only to look for one 6-12 months later.

1 thing about the tiburons(being a hyundai) is they lost resale value quickly. so you can find a modified tiburon that will still be plenty reliable for less than 10k-12k.

Well, it's been fun. Not real fun, but fun. Haha.
Finally got rid of the DSM a few days ago, and picked up my new baby.

Picked her up fairly cheap. Around 7k for it. Stillen 3" dual turbo back exhaust, JWT ECU, stillen pop chargers, turbonetics mbc, HKS intercooler piping, stillen sidemounts, 555cc injectors, and 4 brand new BF goodrich tires... regular 225/25/16's in the front with 245/50/16's in the rear for a little more traction. LSD, as well.

What do ya think?

I think you are a quitter.. That car will never have the potential of a dsm, costs more to upgarde and is harder to upgrade.. My dad is a master tech at nissan and hates working on these due to what a pain in the ass they are..

Nice car, good price. Prayer to god that you never have to work on any engine work. I like them good for fast speeds bad for drag. But glad you got something you like. Sharp looking car.

Yes I sold the DSM about 5 days ago down in D.C and I picked this up yesterday. I have been riding around all day and I honistly dont know how I ever got along with out riding. Its the most amazing experience. This is my first bike ever and I can say I did good. I sold the DSM for 8700 and I picked this beauty up for 5100 with 8k miles Its a 2003 CBR 600 RR with aftermarket pipe, new tires, K&N, Rear Hugger, carbon wind screen, powdercoated swing arm, and someothing things Im forgetting. So heres the pics...let me know what you think.

At an HIN event a few years ago they were selling similar shirts like this one, except the three bold words were on the back (perfect for bikers). I purchased one, but have yet to wear it at any meets.

If you're wondering, HIN discontinued these style of shirts. Sucks for you.

bike is nice. squid is lacking proper gear. suit up numnuts! a nice joe rocket or alpinestar jacket and glove combo in black and yellow would look uber sweet and go with the bike. i get my stuff through kneedraggers.com, they have a good selection, cheap prices and quick shipping.
