Currently awaiting my Stainless Tube and getting ready to tow the car to the house where I'll be welding it up. So till then I need advice. So far the exhaust setup is going to be straight 3" Stainless Tubing. 1 120* off of the Holset Turbo, to a 90* straight back to the rear diff. where there is one 45* straight to the bumper cutout.

No Mufflers or Resonators have been chosen yet. But a few have been looked into such as the Moroso Spiral Race Muffler/Resonator with an estimated 5-7db decrease. And the Dynomax Race Bullet Muffler with a claimed up to 4db Sound Decrease.

I know this whole setup is going to be loud as hell so IDK how long I will be able to stand it. I heard this evo that had the Buschur Exhaust with the Magnaflow Muffler and Angled Tip, I loved the way it looked and sounded. But cannot get info on which muffler it is. I've also tried working out a deal to order just the Thermal Muffler with Angled Tip but they wont do it, they will only sell the muffler with straight tip.

Any advice?

the moroso spiral flow works and sounds great with very little backpressure

Not sure on the BR evo catbacks, but the dsm ones use the Dynomax Ultra Flo, round style mufflers. They are fantastic. I use them on all the exhausts I build. The tip should hardly decide you on what you want to run, and if your capable of welding, and by the sounds you say you are, you can change the tip in a matter of about 5 minutes..

Buy the Thermal muffler with straight tip and have a welder weld the angled tip on?
Also check out Apexi N1 mufflers.

Bad idea if you are looking for a quieter exhaust IMHO. I love my Apex'i N1, its nice and loud, but it has 2 resonators and the 4" cannon on the end, so i don't get why people think resonators make your car quieter, because i have seen/heard zero evidence of that.

If i where you, i would look on Borla's website for chambered mufflers or sound reducing ones in general, oh and they have some pretty sick tips to choose from.

My Apexi N1 is a lot quieter than I thought it would be... I don't have anything to compare it to besides the loud obnoxious civics in my area though...

LOL if we compare it to a ricey honda, then it sounds like the engine isn't even on LOL.
My best description of the n1 turbo back is that in car it is nice and loud (windows down is nice), and from the outside it sounds ridiculously aggressive with very little rasp driving it (not reving in neutral)
