Quiet Exhaust

Hey guys, as everyone may know, I've got the Stage 2 kit by Star. I also have my stock exhaust and it sounds very crappy. It rattles and junk after about 3k RPM. Horrible.

Anyway, what is a good quite exhaust I could get? I hear the EVO2 is good but I don't know about sound levels. I want like mad quite . I don't need cops on my ass and I most definetly don't want my car to sound deep like a beater.

If he's turbo why would he just want to upgrade the muffler? I'd suggest the Greddy Evo, Greddy SP, or if you can wait an RS*R.

yah man i have to agree replace your whole exhost from the turbo back go 2.5 or mabe 3" with 2.5 you will have better low end torqu then with a 3" and if you dont want fansy shinny exhost you can allways get all your peices like your cat and muffler and ect.. and have the muffler guy make you an exhost cost a little less but wont look as preaty

I don't really want the look of an aftermarket exhaust because if a cop takes a look at the size, anything larger than 3 inch (or if it looks aftermarket) he'll ticket me even if its quiet. It happened to me with my 2 inch stock one (!) because it sounds bad (rattles a lot). :thumbdown He thought it was aftermarket.

I had to get a written inspection letter from Mitsubishi to get out of it in court!
