so i have bolted up the trans, and i have mounted the rear roll stop and the main trans mount only, i have the 12mm bolt in the back so pulling the trans will still be easy at this point.. just a huge PAIN IN THE A$$ SO like the title says, i didnt grease the input shaft. i have a new evo 3 input shaft and new clutch disk. how bad is it that i didnt do this? i am most likely going to pull it and grease it for piece of mind.
EDIT: ^ just pulled off trans check this out related to post below
Also, how many bolts ACTUALLY go from the bell housing into the block, NOT including the little 12mm behind the starter? because i have noticed there is a little ear by the front roll stop that goes through a dowel, there is a blank one above that for me... i dont know if its supposed to be blank but there are no threads, i think this might be the bolt that they wanted me to put a washer behind on the skatter sheild. then the two bolts on the top of the bell housing, mine dont seem to snug in all the way, i hope i didnt misplace a starter bolt for that :s is there any other bolts im missing? the dowel one on the other side perhapse? also these bell housing bolts are labeled 7,8,9,10 is that signifigant to the order of which they are supposed to go? or are they just standard hardness measurements? if they ARE hardness measurements... do i have all the wrong bolts here? i know the two in my starter are 7's
here is a picture of what i am talking about i think i am missing a bolt hole like i see in other posts:
