Quick story, couple question.

Before I begin, I'll fill everyone in on some information about my Eclipse.

1995 GSX:
175K on the body and 40K on the engine/transmission and timing belt setup. I have had it for 1 1/2 months. Pretty much stock except a Injen intake, K&N filter and NGK spark plug wires.

The story:
Took a trip to VA to pick my son up on Wednesday. Four minutes from my destination, I put my clutch in to downshift to fourth... the clutch pedal stays to the floor. Long story short, 368 dollars later and a new slave cylinder.
I noticed that putting my clutch in and out seems different now. It goes in nicely and then comes up a little rough into a pop-up feel. Is this the normal clutch feel or does anyone think it needs to be adjusted?

The other question I have:
I put a new AC belt on, and adjusted the tension on it well, nice and tight but not too tight. The belt runs smoothly but it seems the AC compressor makes a constant whining noise... Any ideas on that?

I have searched a great deal and would appreciate some input. Thanks.

Okay, just figured out the AC noise is a bad bearing in the compressor. One down.

For the clutch, read this. Ive had mine 'stick' at the bottom a few times. I put a large bolt to contact the floorboard after disengagement in the clutch lever - feels much better.
