canada,
Hey...

I made my own custom UICP.....
The pipe starts off 2.5" and then goes to 3" where it connects to a 2g throttle body elbow.

my qustion is this.... is it ok for intercooler pipes to start small and get bigger? Will it effect preformance or is there nothing to worry about?

Thanks alot

Your TB Elbow is about what, about 2.5", and your TB opening is 60mm, which is about 2.4". So what purpose is this enlarging of the pipe to 3" serving when it's just shrinking right back down? I would just stick with 2.5" piping all around, no 3" bulges.

I second what he said , it would be like having a 3'' downpipe , 2'' piping them 3'' catback, it would only flow as much as the 2'' section
