Quick Question, Play in headgasket

For a 6 bolt dsm, 4g63t, Im using a combination of Arp headstuds and an oem composite gasket.

When I lay the head on the block, is it normal to have some up and down play on the head gasket?
I feel like the head isnt rested flat on the block with the studs

Are you a 6 bolt bottom end with a 7 bolt head?

Is it just the edge of the gasket flexing up and down.. or is it moving under the head?
