When installing a boost controller, do we cap off the bcs or unplug it altogether? I figured if I unplug it I'll get a c.e.l. so I left it plugged in. I still have one vacuum line going to it from the intake pipe. The other hose from the wastgate actuator went to my e.b.c. so now there is an open port on my bcs. Should I cap this off? Thanks for the help.

You should have no hoses going to the bcs now, but you don't need to cap off the nipples. Take off the line that goes from the bcs to the intake and just cap off the hole in the intake.

And you were right to think it would throw a cel, usually it does so leave it plugged in.

I thought it would throw a CEL if unplugged but recall someone posting no code was thrown when they unplugged theirs. Most just leave it electrically plugged in (what I did), don't have to plug off both ports, but I did just to keep any crap out of it. Also remove the line to the intake & cap it off on the intake pipe.

Yes, i will throw a CEL on a 2g. But i dont think it matters however because its not related to any air/fuel maps. Its all mechanical after unplugging it. Correct me if im wrong.
