guy has a 92 gs-t that he rebuilt the motor and head. He put domed pistons in. What is the positive and negative things on domed pistons . Thanks in advance.

Must be a n/a. the dome pistons will increase the compression which will increase power, usually about 5% per point of compression. eg. 8:1 to 9:1 yields a 5% increase. it will increase efficiency by about 20% so mileage goes up. greater tendancy to knock. mark
