It looks repairable, but ask the seller if you can drop it off at a shop to get a quote for repair. That way you dont get surprised. Also, is it only behind the sideskirt? or is the door damaged too?

It's only behind the skirt the door is fine, except it needs a new door handle..haha.

I have a few other pictures with the door closed. If you want to see them

i have fixed something like that once before, its hollow behind it. you should be able to use a 5 pound slide hammer to pull is back out.

I would still have the owner have a shop look at it for you. It looks simple but there could be more damage that you can't see without an alignment machine.

yeah I was thinking the slide hammer aswell. I was also thinking about driving as is for awhile because it is not that noticable

Hey if I do get this car maybe even a fellow dsmer with a slide hammer could help me out!! haha.

Yeah, fellow DSMers are always willing to help others out but be careful who you trust to work on your car because, well, the dsm you're about to get is case and point about what I'm trying to say LOL. If you plan to keep the car long term, I would get it fixed at a shop. Otherwise, have at it.

Looking at that picture today reminded me of my friend who "thought" he knew how to work on cars. He had his cutlass up on jack stands, went to remove them but didn't pull them out all the way before letting the car down. The damage looked exactly like the car in the first post but on both sides. :ohdamn:

Moral of the story, be careful who you trust because everyone "thinks" they know what they're doing but few actually do, it's just some are better at persuading than others. You might end up with your car worse off than it was.

Haha I know but I also have a bunch of friends in the car business.
A lot of them do body work so I mean they could help haha.
And your friend...I feel bad hahaha

That story you told me reminds me of my friend who though he knew how to wire in a head unit but he cut my wires to short and yeah I need a new radio harness haha.
