Quick PSI question

So Iv'e heard the stock boost on a T-25 on a GS-T like mine is 10-12 psi....depending on the car So my question is what does it depend on? I heard someone say rather its a manual or auto. I think thats crap. So my final question is what is my stock psi on my 97 GS-T Manual with the stock T-25 turbo?

the only way to tell is to get a boost gauge.
On my 95 tsi AWD it is 10psi, and sometimes it jumps to 11...

12 psi is suppose to be the base boost pressure for the 2g's while 10 psi was the base pressure for the 1g's. Boost can change according to weather.
