Quick pics of the roof rack!!!

As long as people use it. I remember my VW friend dragged me to a VW meet and I started convos with most people who had roof racks. Most of the time, went like this..

Me: Nice rack, do you snowboard?
VW: No
Me: Oh, what do you use it for, then?
VW: Nothing.
Me: Ah, I see.

THATS SO TRUE!!! around here there is like 10 billion "JDM AZ FK!" hondas with colorful rims and stuff and the majority of them have roof racks. when i ask about em they say they dont use it for nothing well.... i did see this one guy with a little girl bike with training wheels and streamers on the handlebars. it was pink

I looked into getting a yakima rack a while back. These are the basic parts you need for our cars.

48" crossbars
Q-towers
Q46 Q-clips (vehicle specific clips)
44" fairing (optional)
Locks (obviously prevent theft)
Q-short roof stretch kit (only needed for something big like a kayak)

This is what I got off of yakima's website.

I also looked into the Autozone rack that was posted earlier. Autozone sells two different "cargo carriers." One is $19.99 and the other is $44.99. They both looked the same to me so im not shur of the differences between the two.

Mine is the 19.99 one.

aren't bodykits a type of creativity? I'm not saying I'm a huge fan of them but if you do them right, some of them don't look to bad.

And I have no say in what anyone does but if you want to be into the outdoors and stuff why buy a sports car? There's plenty of cheap rangers or blazers out there And probably not that much more then a $300 roof rack.I know I'd rather get a whole truck for like $500 rather then 5 pounds of aluminum for $300.... But hey it's not on my car so more power to ya

the difference is 25 bucks man... Lol but seriously you get what you pay for... The more expensive one is probably heavier duty even though they look the same... Or maybe one has a warranty and the other don't ?

Idk im think maybe because its a brand new camry and this car is a lot older? Makes common sense to me, idk about you.

Ummm.... it's an Eagle Talon, not a Porsche or Ferrari. Brand new car vs. 12 year old car, not a tough decision if you ask me.

Well looks like I found my answer for a roof rack as well.

OP, how is the installation and are there specifics on the parts needed to build the rack? I was at a local bike shop and they had no racks for the DSM but was told to get a tow hitch bar thing installed o have that style of a rack.

I'll be excited to get a rack for my MTB

Dude, last winter someone stole the roof rack off my friend's old Sentra while we were 10 feet away inside playing MW2. We drove around the ghetto neighborhood a few blocks over and found it. There were 10 dudes working on ten different Sentras. I guess the new ghetto trend around here is to ride around with a bike on your roof rack even though you don't use it.

all the hondas around here are starting to show up with "JDM" roof racks
and 99.9% shure those hondas cant make it up the trails anyways
if u use the rack shure but.....
why on earth !!!
its like the useless rear spoiler frenzy that went around 4-5 years ago

Do you have any pictures of the entire car with the roof rack on (or anyone for that matter). I am interested in getting one for 2 snowboards and someone is gonna sell me a Q rack possibly. How does it attach anyways. it doesnt seem like there is any place to? also would it scratch the roof at all?

I like it, I ve been looking into a roof rack, I do a lot of camping in the summer and which is one of my intentions of buying this car.
