hey guys im looking for a nice muffler right now cause im gonna do 3" turbo back exhaust

i found one on ebay for around like 200$ http://cgi.ebay.com/Powerpro-5-fatb...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting
and my question is : is there anything else like this where i can get for a lil less ?? i want a 3" inlet and 5" tip,i was looking on ebay and found this one,but i think its too much money for that, plus i never heard of this brand anything at all what do you guys think???

if someone know some links where is a muffler that im looking for please post it thanks alot

Yes, magnaflow's N1 style exhaust sounds killer. I have a Apex`i N1 that is 3 in and 4 out and Ive had countless compliments on the sound of my car. It sounds even more throaghty with the new shortblock and higher compression pistons. That muffler will sound too deep. You will hear the put put of the exhaust. You dont want that.

Magnaflow ftw. Mine has a classy oval tip instead of that typical 3" round can everyone has. And the exhaust note has that sweet gurgling throaty sound similar to V8. I much prefer that sound of power versus a swarm of angry bees.

And 5" is just ridiculous and good for comic relief.

if you REALLY want a 5" tip, you might be better off getting a seperate tip and welding it onto whatever muffler you get. That way you don't have to get some stupid ricer brand muffler (which usually sound horrible) just to get your 5" tip. For example, thermal R&D has muffler tips that are 3" in and 5" out, which can be easily welded to a magnaflow or other muffler with a 3" outlet. http://www.thermalrd.com/tips.htm It might prove to be more expensive than you want, but it's an option worth considering.

And just to add my opinion to the discussion, I'm with the rest of these guys that a 5" tip would look ridiculous, but whatever floats your boat.

I've got a powertech muffler and it sounds great. I got it for 65 bucks shipped, then took it to an exhaust shop and had custom piping made. these mufflers are not loud at all and sound real melow. I have the PT1001 wich has a 4.5" tip. If you can afford a magnaflow, then get one of those by all means, If not, these are a nice alternative that sound good in my opinion. I had this muffler on my 2gnt and it made it sound nice too. No raspy ricey sound at all. just a low deep tone. It sounded so Nice that ina dyno day back in miami, I was complimented on how good it sounded by a whole bunch of people, even though the car only made 120 whp.LOL.
