Ill be upgrading my injectors here soon and I was wondering... I have the stock t25 and i would like to upgrade sometime this year (maybe) to a 14b or 16g... do you have to change out the the factory manifold? if so what should i get? what else is involved? also im on a tight budget...so i dont need the super high end stuff....i have no problem with buying used or refurbished as long as its been taking care of. thanks for the input

Pretty much everything up to a B16g is a complete stock replacement. The pattern and opening to the exhaust manifold is still same as stock. On the intake side, you will need a J-pipe for either one though but that should come with it, depending on how you get your turbo.

What MO88 said. If you plan on doing a FMIC, it will usually have an option for a j-pipe, such as the VRSF bolt on ones. Might as well do the exhaust, oil lines, intake and a boost controller (to keep levels down until you get a tune due to the more air the 14b/16g's push especially with other BPU's).

If you upgrade to a 14b/16g turbo your best option is to stick with your 2g exhaust manifold. It flows better then the 1g version.

Best options if you don't Want to upgrade. The 2g is great but the fp manifold is better. There are lots of threads on 14b/16g you you could upgrade injectors to evo 560cc to max out a 14b and 660cc for an evo3 16g

The 2G exhaust manifold flows than you need, so you're good there. The 14/16G's will bolt up fine as well, even with stock downpipe. However, upgrading to a 14/16G will need an install kit for the water/oil lines/j pipe. While your there you should also move the turbo oil feed from the head to the OFH. There are lots of write ups on each of those.

Since you already have DSMlink, choosing the injectors will depend on what the biggest turbo you'd see yourself getting. With the largest of the 16G's (Evo3 16G) you can get the 660cc's just to be safe or 550cc's at the minimum (RRE). No harm in getting higher than 660's because link is very good and will compensate even with idling issues. But only get bigger than 660cc's if you'll be upgrading to a bigger turbo in the future. Even though I have the EvoIII 16G, I got 780cc's because I'll be upgrading to a bigger turbo next year.
Haaave fun!
