quick 02 sensor question

i found a talon in a junck yard and i was wondering one, how to take it out and 2, could i just snip all the wires and retap them in my car?

You can normally take them out using a O2 sensor tool. It looks like a 17mm socket with a cut along the side of it to get around the wire. Some places will call it a "crow's foot." You could snip the wires but wouldn't it be easier to just unplug it?

I would recommend buying it. I don't believe it's terribly expensive. I did the same thing as you. I figured I'll just use a socket or jimmy a wrench in there. I can tell you that I own an O2 sensor tool now because it's just not worth the hassle of using something else to take it off.
