Is this a crazy turbo to put on a front wheel drive car? Who has done this and could tell me whats it like compared to a regular 50 trim turbo , about the lag ? Is it overkill for a street car ? thanks

I spin the entire way through 3rd with an evo 3, and the 3065 can make all 4 break loose in 2nd on an awd......i believe it spools around 4500, but again i say it'll break loose all 4 in 2nd...does that awnser your "crazy" question? LOL :thumb: :talon:

It actually probably wont be, how many psi are you planning to run, cause that's a serious turbo, i mean, i had no traction with my evo 3 at 22psi till about 90, and 22 psi on that thing is gonna haul ass and ## gonna wish you were awd or had 8 foot wide tires.

An evo 3 is going to spin the wheels allot more at launch because its a smaller turbo no lag. What some FWD dsm are doing now is getting into bigger turbos because of there lag, There is a guy on the forums who is fwd and is running a 3065 he got a 10 sec time slip.

wow a 3065 on a fwd! i was going to put mine on my 2g fwd just for giggles! put it to you this way ! picture driving your car on a hocky rink ROFL

Yea I just got my trans back from tre , with it all and a quaife too. Also I used to have a 1999 gs-t with a 16g spinning aways. Sold the turbo got a to4e and good driving and that car haul ass from a dead stop to speed quick as hell. That is what I am saying , on a fwd the lag of the turbo helps out alot and some good driving, I might go with the fp3052 instead though.

i have a 20g on my 2g it spools around 2800-3200. it has actually been spooling alittle slower now cause i have a huge boost leak from a crack near th external!
