2G Questions on bushings and ball joints.

Well first question is what bushings are above the tire that you could see without even jacking it up, because mine are shot and making the rear sound like crap and cannot drive at all in the snow which last year I was ok but not this year.

How do you tell what ball joints are bad?

I just replaced the drivers side upper ball joint, when turning the wheel it's squeaking again so can you tell by which way you the turn the wheel?

You have to put a jack under the lower control arms to preload the suspension. Then get a bar and put it under the tire and pull up. Have someone watch the ball joints while you do it to check for play.

Also u said its a squeak noise? I had a squeak noise for about a month then my right front lower fell out. Turns out the boot on the joint had a rip in it letting all of the grease out over time. Then once the joint started getting dry due to the lack of grease it started squeaking. Then finally one day it just let go at 35 mph around a bend. So I replaced all 4 lower arms just to play it safe.
