Questions on ACT 2100 and 2600

My clutch is slipping now when i press the gas down. If i drive like a granny it wont slip....but say i am in 5th gear and try to speed up. Anything after about 3500rpm it will slip and i have to let off the gas so it catches again. So im just wanting to do this once and be done with it. A couple questions though...how much power will the 2100 and 2600 hold with the street disk? And also is the ACT throwout bearing any good or should i get an OEM one?

If my memory serves correctly.. 2600 holds up to 600-700hp not sure about 2100 but i know i pushed my 2100 a little past 400hp..

The puck disks are better for cooling down the clutch after each run and grab alot better..

My goal is 350whp...it may change in thw VERY distant future. The reason i was thinking street disc was because this is my DD. i had a 6 puck on my Accord and the stop and go Washington traffic makes the 6 puck tiring. Tries to grab too much for this traffic

But I cant seem to find the 2600 clutch

I would go with the Fidanza 3.2 clutch. Its more than what you need and its cheaper than the ACT clutch. I just got done droping my trans and good ole act clutch fingers are breaking. So I'm going with the Fidanza to match up to my flywheel.

SBR 3600 has been proven very well by many DSMers

Its cheaper and very very good, i used it right before i blew my motor and have nothing but good things to say about it (was making around 450hp at the time)

2600 with the oem throwout bearing and a street disc is perfect for your HP goals. Not bad in stop and go traffic either. i'm a twig and its no biggie for me

The Act2100 is pretty good and it will have that stock clutch feeling, same with the fidanza.

What about the Fidanza 2.1? I really don't want a 4 puck clutch...that will be super harsh for DD. The 2.1 is rated for a bit over 300 ft/lb....at 350whp I think that would be almost pushing the limit though.

4 puck is a sprung clutch so It wont be too harsh.

Damn man...guess I'm buying an OEM one for sure then! I read the writeup on the 3.2 and saw it said it is OK for DD....I'll probably get that with a Fidanza flywheel.

You can get a friction plate so you dont have to resurface your flywheel. they are like $45 on maperformance.com.

Just make sure you have the 18 bolt hole one because if you have the 20 hole patter you have to get it from epsi.com

Friction plate for the Fidanza? They don't come with them already...on epsi.com?
