93 eagle talon awd. So from what i was told the block has new rods and pistons. Also stage 2 cams with 3 angle valves if thats indeed what was sayed. It has afc, a electronic boost controller not hooked up. The bad wiring all over the place dodge stealth maf recurculating bov with no recurculation i do not know if it is needed but from what i know it should. Wires hanging dont know were they go the safc does not turn on he sayed wiring problem. Now the a/f guage was showing lean and black smoke from rear and light black smoke from the engine was also outta gas (fml) no test drive to see if moves im sure it does no tags were on it either. the power sterring pump inlet im guessing bolt blew off and shot power sterring fluid everywere. Windshield cracked paint faded missing some interior parts. He is wanting 3000, now is it worth it or no? :thumb: :notgood:
 
It sounds like a total piece. I'd MAYBE buy it for a parts car for like 300... but that was only if it drove enough to take it home to park it.
 
No that is not worth it at all. I bought my 1g gsx with no problems for 2k and my 99 gst for 2200. Sounds like it would be a money pit.
 
well the bottom end got eagle rods something with a c pistons it runs strong though sounds good well im guessing im on my search again for a 1g or a awd. Thanks for the comments got my eyes off the awd and on the problems.

I believe you mean CP pistons and eagle rods.

If it really does have that, i'd take a look at the wiring harness and see how bad it is. I'd say 2300 if it has a built motor. But you never know till you look at it.
 
i looked at it yesterday torn the car apart and yes cp piston i could not remember. The wiring for the o2 sensor was showing bare wire. Their was a wire that was near the alt looked like something for oil disconnected. Then sensors by the transmission were out did not have a place to go. Extra wires wires not in the correct place just unorganized. A yellow wire like speaker wire going threw the firewall.
 
I'd give him 800 tops for it. Never buy a car you can't hear run or drive it for that matter for more than 1k.

Ah man you don't know what the power of a BILL OF SALES can do. Tell him to give a bill of sales of all the said parts in there. IF you do buy it and tear it down and nothing. Wow!
 
NO do not buy ###.. keep searching.. i know its a hassle to search but you will find better...

im pretty sure if you can see the bullshit hack job that is visible.. you would be very upset when you find what maybe wrong under the dash if there was any wiring done.. also if he built the motor.. you will soon find out how wrong he prob didnt even torque anything to spec.. smh ### move on for your sanity and his safety because i wouldnt trust me either after 3 grand and a mess of a car
 
Like I said before, the car sounds like a total disaster and there is no way in hell I would ever consider paying that much for a car like that... PERIOD.
But it's your money, so do as you please.:)
 
well i did not buy and yes i was looking for a project. Due to recent event of buying a diffrent one. I got a spare block to start a project with the gst i just sold. His cash and the learning for bolth. Thanks for all the comments and help.
 
in my short time of being a dsmer, I've learned one thing: buy these cars stock.
 
Nay! It always good to buy a car stock, so you know that the car has not been tempered with and you can fix it how you like it. You know what's been installed, because anyone can say I got this and that, so I can sell you a car. That's why I bought my car bone stock except for the front mount intercooler.
