Hard to get what your saying. Someone told you there is a problem with the clutch. When you went there and tried to start it, it would grind??? Or when you tried to press the clutch in it while it was started it would grind? More information about the grinding. Did you have it in neutral? In gear? When does it grind?

Clutch issue, or transmission could be bad i wouldnt buy in unless i found out what it was. Been down that road before with transmissions.

Thank's for the info it would not start when trieng to crank it would grind sry for the confusion and yes the clutch was just replaced. But seing that i have no credit i could not get it.

Grinding and not starting like that could mean a chipped flywheel. The teeth on the flywheel get broken off and the starter can effectively grab and spin the flywheel to start the car. My Mazda literally did the same thing this morning. It's flywheel is being replaced tomorrow.

A dealer had it? I wouldn't imagine them knowing jack-diddly about the car. Good thing you had no credit and didn't end up getting it. I could see it being a nightmare....

So true. A dealer should be able to spot something like a busted flywheel. Kind of an essential piece of the car. :ohdamn:

Seems to me like your saying it grinds when trying to put it in gear, not starting the car? If thats the case put the car in gear and try to start it and see what happens. Be sure there is nothing in front of the car if the battery is well charged it could jump forward.
