I know there are a few other options, but I've seen a few people say they've installed this particular kit. I'd like to know what colors people have gone with and for those who bought the "complete" kit, how the hatch area piece fit. I'm looking to replace the factory gray carpet and wasn't sure which of their color options will match the stock color best. I know their kit doesn't replace all of the carpet in the car, so choosing a darker color might not look good since I'll still have a hatch color with the old color.

Here's the kit I'm looking at:
95-98 Eagle Talon Carpet Coupe Complete Kit 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998

Any feedback from those who have this kit is appreciated. Also, for those who bought this kit, if you had the chance again, would you buy it or would you go with a different kit instead?

Chris, I bought the floor piece for the front half of my car and then a few yards of the material to upholster my rear half of the car. I have the black/charcoal dash/doors and went with the Charcoal color for the interior if I recall. I will have to upload a few pics of it.

Fitment requires trimming, and quality of the floor piece was excellent. I paid for the padding to be on the floor piece. You will need to cut all the holes in it to mount properly as well as swap over the carpet hooks on the door frame panels and staple them on. They give enough extra material to cover everything so you will need to do some trim work during install, but it isn't bad. I did the floor in my car around a ton of extra cutouts for cage, bracketry, etc in around 2 hours with the dash installed.

Awesome Tim, thanks for the info. Would love to see photos.

I also installed one of these a few years ago in my first dsm. The fitment of the piece once trimmed was very good. The molded parts were all in the right spots. It was pretty easy to do, just have to be careful not to remove too much material in any of the areas. I'd get one again if I needed new carpet.

Chris, all I could find was a quick cell phone pic when I installed it. It looks like either Charcoal or Dark Grey; I will need to go through my 2011 receipt folder to see what color it was, but I thought I ordered Charcoal.

I used StockInteriors.com to replace the carpet in my Talon and my Bonneville. It is certainly not a direct fit, and you will have to trim quite a bit off (atleast I did) I would reccomend them and I would use them again myself. Each time I got black carpet without the extra backing. For my Talon I ordered a extra roll and carpeted the rear trunk which I built a floor for. :thumb:

Holy crap, had I only known sooner! very nice. Do they hold up over time like stock?

It's carpet. Get the stuff with the backing padding and you should be fine.

Mine looks brand new after 2 years.
