Questions about modifying a stock 1g need some help!

1993 mitsubishi eclipse gsx (auto) bone stock i wanna add a 3" dp and 3" exhaust would that hook up to the stock turbo or no? what would i need?

also wanna add aftermarket manifold,intake,and intercooler kit so with these mods would i need bigger injectors,afc,gauges or no?

how much hp can a bone stock motor handle where it would be safe enough so the motor wont get ruined?

Did you look at the upgrade path for our cars? The hp it can handle every is different, a good start would do more research.

To answer your first question yes a 3in dp and catback will attach to your stock o2 housing, you may want to take the time now to port your o2 housing while your there. Also an actuall boost guage is always recommended on these cars because it helps to know exactly how much boost you are running since the stock one isn't all that accurate. Also with a manifold,intake, and fmic more fuel isn't necessary. If you plan on upping the boost then yes walbro 190 or 255 and the appropriate injectors along with something to control them with such as afc, or link, or jackal

there is deff alot of upgrades for our car! gte an intake piipe or something like dejon , or sbr! if you are going to us ethe stock 1g mass remove the silencer in maf! a bbeter flowing mas upgrade is a 2g mass. just need to go to vfaq.com and look at the wiring diagram! next the exhaust! a three inch dp will not olt up to the stock 1g o2 housing. the dp will need to be 3-2.5 inlet for it to work. you can buy after market o2 housing or o2 dumps for that matter to bolt up. for a stocker a prted 2g is a better flowing o2 housing better on spooling the turbo. next deff get either a fmic or 2.5 intercooler pipes to athe stock smic! next crush the 1g bov for better boost hold or get a 1g upgraded one! elimanate al vaccum lines except bov controll and fpr controol no need for hte one sof the eger and throttle body, cap them, and as the egr goes make or buy a egr block off plate!nest get a stock 2g manifold and port it flow rele good ported. flow better than 1g mani! get rid of the bcs solinoid. more boost. then you will need to get a walbro either 190 or 255 your hcoice and afpr to control the afp! 43 psi! let us know how you make out and you can always go to dsm vfaqs.com or on here on the tech page! let us know bro

Thanks...this one has abs doesnt that suck? i mean its better without it right? saves weight or what?

It has abs so now im guessing i wont be able to run 2.5" intercooler piping since its in the way? i heard i cant delete it and would have to use smaller pipes is that true?

hey hwta sup bro! actualy i just did a abs delete and it is pretty easy. just takes about two hours. go to the auto parts store and get several 3/16 lines in different sizes. gonna need atleast 4 of them and your going to need the non abs proportion valve!. it saves about 30 lbs and looks alot beter in engine bay! but i have 2.5 inch intercooer pipes and it tight but still do able. but deff recomend abs removal. let me know

hey hwta sup bro! actualy i just did a abs delete and it is pretty easy. just takes about two hours. go to the auto parts store and get several 3/16 lines in different sizes. gonna need atleast 4 of them and your going to need the non abs proportion valve!. it saves about 30 lbs and looks alot beter in engine bay! but i have 2.5 inch intercooer pipes and it tight but still do able. but deff recomend abs removal. let me know

So it just saves weight? im planning on adding a cb hood anyways but would the 2.5" pipes still fit with the abs in the way? seems to me its doable as i been looking threw the 1g pics and saw people with front mounts with the abs.
