Questions about loggers/logging???

Ok, I'm in the middle of building my new motor and have been focusing on the just long-block; however, with Christmas coming up, I think I'll take advatnage of it to get my tuning parts out of the way. As far as tuning, so far I thought about an E.G.T. gauge, S-AFC2, DSM Chip, and a datalogger. The only thing I get confused with is the logger. I see it in the "Parts catalog" and it doesn't help me out much. If I get a Palm Pilot, what software do I need? Any tips on installs with the logger would help, too. Please help me with my logger woes. Thanks a lot!

Ahhhh!!! I think I understand... . So, I get that cable for $125, then get a Palm Pilot and I'm good to go?

Pretty much.

The hot setup is a DSMlink and skip the SAFC and pocketlogger but it's a bit more work and expense.
