Questions about Intercooling?

I will be getting my new 6 bolt powered 2g back later this week and have a few questions concerning intercooling. I'll have the stock 14b with some port work done and the mods in my profile along with a fuel pump and DSMlink. Once I get my exhaust out of the way, I was thinking about installing a Supra Sidemount that I've found for a decent price. I've done some searches and read mixed reviews about this intercooler. I was just wondering what some people think of running this with the 14b. I don't know the limit to the stock sidemount and don't really want to be worrying about heatsoak after a couple of highway runs. Will the stock sidemount be good with my mods @ about 16psi?

People on these threads use the 14b, 16g and 50 trim with the MKIV IC.
14b will work well with the MKIV sidemount.
As far as the stock IC. I could heat soak mine with the old t25.
You'll be much happier with an upgraded IC
