1G Questions about Auto to Manual Conversion

Hey well I just got a 1992 Eclipse GS non turbo. It has an auto transmission but its messed and who really wants an auto allright well I just need to know if the Manual transmission will fit where the automatic is now (on the engine)? Thanks if you can help me with this.

I looked at the link, and iw as wondering if it was the same for an automatic AWD tranny swap to a manual AWD tranny?

i did this swap on a 92 awd auto to a 5spd fwd, it wasnt to bad, cluctch pedal assembly, drill holes for linkage, drill out clutch slave cylinder spot, run everything, etc, took about 2 hrs.
