when ever i try to sly down from high speed it seems to grab and relese alot and it shakes the car. what might this be. could the rotors be warped

your rotors are warped. Vibration in the wheel while braking at highway speeds is a common sign of warped rotors

Warped brakes shake the steering wheel when you try to stop, especially at highway speeds.

The term warped:

Have you ever seen the cartoons where the character put a record on the record player and the needle rises up and down as if it’s on a wave? That is an over-exaggeration of a warped rotor. If they are not too warped or too thin (you can only fix them so much) you can get them "cut" or "skimmed" That means that the rotor is put on a machine that spins the rotor. Then a cutting tool removes all the high sections of the surface until it is perfectly flat. The process is then repeated on the other side.

I don't bother to skim them, there are cheap enough (in my opinion) that I just replace them every time.

To replace them:

-Remove wheel
-Unbolt caliper (2 - 17mm bolts) ZIPTIE it somewhere so that the hose doesn't kink/stretch
-Unbolt caliper cage (2 - 17mm bolts) You can leave the pads in there.
-Pull the rotor off.

If it doesn't come off, beat the shit out of it from the back with a hammer. A large gear puller will also work. If you use the hammer method, you WILL need
a new rotor.
