Rear brakes question

just wondering if replacing the rear brake pads go in the same order as replacing the fronts. please let me know, thanks

If you have rear discs then yes, it's pretty much the same as the front, except the pins are 14mm rather than 17mm.

^^^^ Exactly. Plus make sure your parking brake is off if your taking off the rotors. When I removed my calipers, my rotors literally fell apart . So glad I got a whole brake kit.

And the rear pistons screw back into the calipers. Don't try to rush them, just steady pressure if they fight you.

Not on a 2G. 1G perhaps, but no 2G I've seen requires the pistons to be rotataed, they push into the caliper just like the fronts.

Wiggling might help, but is not required. At least I had no difficulty using a run-of-the-mill caliper retractor. And it was clear during the rebuild that the bores and pistons were both smooth.

Lol saying that u had to screw in the rears scared me there for a second. I just used a C-Clamp to push back in the caliper, worked fine.
